We realized years ago that our clients have to become educated with environmental issues with electronic equipment and proper disposal methods. Facility Description and Location

The ASR facility is located at 4319 Hwy 120 Duluth, GA 30097, which we own. This facility serves as our corporate office with over 3,800 square feet of warehouse. This space is utilized for storage, auditing, consolidations, disassembly, re-assembly, and refurbishing of electronics. All processing areas are enclosed and climate controlled. We have two drive-up docks with roll up doors to receive all sizes of lift gate trucks and regular vans.

Safety and Health

ASR has developed and implemented a comprehensive safety and health program in order to be in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. All employees undergo a formal safety training program upon becoming an associate in addition to periodic refresher courses. The company operates free of variances, consent decrees, or any other safety and health abatement agreements.

Environmental

ASR accepts personal computers, related computer equipment, mainframe systems, mid-range systems, photocopiers, facsimiles, and other office equipment for refurbishing or recycling. Less than 0.25% of materials collected by ASR have been sent to landfills. Landfilled materials include foam packaging, plastic wrap, and labels. ASR does accept Universal Waste.

Transportation Service License

ASR partners with both local and national computer transportation companies who maintain correct local, state and federal licenses required for the relocation of computer equipment.

General Conditions for Acceptance of Recyclables

ASR has developed procedures for accepting common materials as well as non-conforming waste for recycling from its clients.

Vendor Sales

ASR works directly with end users of the materials generated by its electronic equipment disassembly process. Vendors that process hazardous waste generated by ASR report the disposition of the waste and provide official documentation certificates. No waste is ever sent outside the continental US. Information on ASR’s recycling vendors will be provided upon request. These vendors have agreed to open their facilities to our customers in case you have direct questions for them.
